BCUC (meaning Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness) are a band from Soweto, South Africa drawing on a wide sphere of sound. They exhibit elements of indigenous funk, hip-hop and punk-rock. Formed in 2011, the seven-piece band consists of Nkosi "Jovi" Zithulele, Kgomotso Mokone, Thabo "Cheex" Mangle, Mritho Luja, Lehlohonolo "Hloni" Maphunye, and Skhumbuzo Mahlangu and Mosebetsi Ntsimande.

Took my two 15 year old sons ... they were rather blown away by the dynamic energy of BCUC ... as was I .... haunting at times explosive at others BOOM
