Skinny Lister are the indie folk group with global appeal. Formed in 2009, the Greenwich-based band includes members Dan Heptinstall (lead vocals, guitar), Max Thomas (melodeon, mandolin, vocals), Lorna Thomas (vocals, ukulele), Scott Milsom (bass) and Tim Hillsdon (drums).
They have released five studio albums, including Forge & Flagon (2012), Down on Deptford Broadway (2014), The Devil, The Heart and the Fight (2016), The Story Is... (2019) and A Matter Of Life & Love (2021).

Skinny Lister, Rescue Rooms, Nottingham - 5th April 2019
Skinny Lister were brilliant, they are very energetic and create a great atmosphere. Having been to this venue previously would have been more ideal if the upstairs would have been open as seats and this was closed off - probably due to amount of tickets sold and the need to provide less staff - although the turn out was good.

First time seeing Skinny Lister and they put on a such a fantastic show. They looked like they were having the time of their lives on stage and the audience clearly felt the same - the set flew by. You'd have to be next level grumpy to leave a Skinny Lister gig without a huge smile on your face.
