Veteran singer / songwriter Richard Thompson casts beautiful spells with music, weaving gorgeous melodies around story telling lyrics, conjuring vivid imagery as he deftly plucks the six string.
The Notting Hill born maestro is recognised as one of the world’s greatest talents, having received multiple Grammy nominations, with such esteemed artists as R.E.M., Elvis Costello and David Byrne all citing Thompson as a major influence.
His many accolades include an Ivor Novello Award, and his song “1952 Vincent Black Lightening” was named in Time Magazines list of All Time 100 Songs.

He had great rapport with the audience, sang some fantastic songs and is one of the best guitar players I,ve ever heard. Great stuff!!!

Whilst a fan for over 30 years I have never seen Richard Thompson, until last night. Absolutely brilliant, his guitar playing is superb and so was his performance.
