Scottish music and activist Steve Mason is best known as lead singer of folktronica pioneers The Beat Band. Mason has also led King Biscuit Time and now works as a solo artist.
He has released four albums under his own name, including Boys Outside (2010), Monkey Minds In The Devil's Time (2013) Meet The Humans (2016), About the Light (2019) and Brothers & Sisters (2023).

Went to see Steve Mason at the Academy in Leicester been a big fan since the Beta Band days seen him many times before but he excelled himself this time brilliant gig with an excellent band who obviously enjoyed playing together shame it wasn’t very full because people missed a treat great gig from a vastly underrated British musician long live Steve Mason !!!

EartH itself was a pleasant surprise and we would definitely go back; but Steve Mason (his band included) was amazing. Great songs; masses of energy; and came across really well with the crowd. We would go and see him again like a shot but (after Brighton tonight) he seems to have no further gigs this year, as yet> Something to look forward to!!!!!!!!!!!!11
