The Haunt is a small venue, probably the smallest I've ever seen a band in...it was hot and sticky, England had just got through to the semi-finals, the band had flown from Sweden (ironically) the night before and had no sleep, and it was Sons of Apollo! Portnoy, Sheehan, Sherinian, Soto, and Bumblefoot - it was one of those events where lots of elements came together to make a truly memorable gig. "You guys are within spitting distance! I can't remember a playing a gig this intimate..." said Portnoy at one point. A fantastic night.
