LA’s Queen Kwong, aka Carré Callaway took on London for a free 4 show residency in the capital during 2015, leaving packed audiences mesmerised by the sheer power and savagery of the band’s superb brand of punk rock. ‘Get A Witness’ is the titular single from the eagerly awaited debut album, which has now been released.
The 8-track record was produced by Icarus Line’s Joe Cardamone. One song per day from scratch, completely improvised. This unconventional method was used to capture the rawness of Carré’s songwriting and the spontaneous streak she is now renowned for from her electrifying live shows.
