Led by Olivier Libaux and Marc Collin; French cover band Nouvelle Vague play unique arrangements of popular songs. They take their title from both the New Wave cinematic movement that swept out of their home country during the 60’s and the new wave musical explosion in the 70’s and 80’s; their idiosyncratic take on tracks is atmospheric and often in the bossa nova style.
Fantastic connection with songs and audience - had Gen X bouncing like millenials :-)

Loved the performance and the great energy. Have listened to the band for many years, this was the first opportunity to see them live. Union Chapel is a great venue to experience performances in an intimate environment. Wonderful show.

Great to see such an iconic band at such a great venue! The new stuff isn’t as new wave as the classic Nouvelle Vague but everyone had a blast. Amazing music and spectacular dancing!

Great gig, the sound was amazing. Lots of room for the singers to wander about. We chose a seat in the side balcony which was really good.
