Hampshire based singer / songwriter Marika Hackman is renowned for her dark take on folk.
She has released three studio albums We Slept at Last (2015), I'm Not Your Man (2017) and her covers record simply titled Covers (2020). Her top streamed tracks are “I Follow Rivers”, “No Caffeine”, “Claude’s Girl” and “Apple Tree”.
The Cookie is hot, but a great cellar venue with friendly staff and customers. Marika was suffering from the heat, but put in an incredible performance, which went down well with the sold-out crowd. Wonderful - tunes, great performance and connection with the crowd.
