Kristin Hersh found fame playing with rock bands Throwing Muses and 50FootWave. Her solo work sees her explore experimental folk.
She has released twelve solo studio albums, including Hips and Makers (1994), Strange Angels (1998), Murder, Misery and Then Goodnight (1998), Sky Motel (1999), Sunny Border Blue (2001), The Grotto (2003), Learn to Sing Like a Star (2007), Speedbath (2008), Crooked (2010), Wyatt at the Coyote Palace (2016), Possible Dust Clouds (2018) and Clear Pond Note (2023).
Kristen Hersh excellent as usual, playing a mix of Throwing Muses songs and her solo material. Beautifully accompanied by 'Cello Pete' which added a lovely depth to the music. A couple of entertaining bits of her writing thrown in for good measure. South Street Arts is a great little venue with very friendly staff and a nice bar. Hope to be back soon!

Must be the 7th time my wife and I have seen Kristin Hersh both solo and as Throwing Muses. Always great - amazing voice, funny, intelligent and a huge talent. So glad to hear she’s adding extra dates and selling out.
