Hawklords are a British Space-Rock band originally formed in 1978 from the ashes of The Sonic Assassins.
Hawklords was rebooted in 2008 by former Hawkwind alumni, including Nik Turner and guitarist Jerry Richards, to play a celebratory concert for founder member, the late Robert Calvert, lyricist for Hawkwind’s 1970s hit classic, ‘Silver Machine’.
Since 2008 the band has toured the UK and Europe extensively, released two live DVD concerts and is touring their 12th consecutive album of original material, ‘S P A C E’,across the UK throughout October 2023.
Old friends to the marrs bar Worcester. cracking concert, played brilliantly, great vibes. Hawklords never disappoint. Looking forward to their return.

As usual The Hawklords took everyone, myself included, into an other realm.... The three guys gave their spiritual energy, style and space rock nuances to the assembled followers gathered in this small but very popular venue. Blasting their way through space and time with old favourites,new album taster's and a mesmerising backdrop,the 'Lords delivered yet another fine performance, although it was the last gig of a 19 date tour they never let up, and sent us all to another pleasurable level.. Yes, the true Lords of Levitation....and we love it!!! Can't wait till next year's tour and perhaps a new album?!… .An awesome band and a great venue. A truly great time was had by all the space cadets!!

Hawklords, Marrs Bar, Worcester - 27th October 2023
Cobblestones is a brilliant local venue. I got tickets for friends to Hawklords and tagged along out of curiosity. I'm so glad I did! 1st band Concrete Donkey were a Good, solid tight band. Support act No Love Lost are perhaps the creme of local Somerset Bands... an amazing band, with particularly skilled multi talented vocalist Alfie Ha ndley, and probably the best of local gigging guitarists Hamish Barclay. Hawklords were an unexpected joy! High calibre musicianship, great sound, very professional visuals and a commanding on stage presence.

Hawklords, The Cobblestones, Bridgwater - 30th October 2019
Hawklords gig an epic performance scanning the generations with remaining Hawkwind veterans awesome alongside newer performers. I don’t know much about this band but now I’ll make it my business to find out more! The Maze is a great venue too great bar staff. A memorable night out!
