Glenn Hughes, the former bassist, and singer of Deep Purple, known to millions as the ‘Voice of Rock’, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, is pleased to announce, 'Glenn Hughes Performs Classic Deep Purple Live - Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the album BURN'. Glenn will perform Deep Purple’s legendary rock album “BURN” and will also perform Deep Purple MKIII and MKIV songs.
Great gig - Glenn still can belt out a tune. Had to leave a bit early to catch last public transport home, but thoroughly enjoyed the concert and very helpful staff at the Academy, Manchester.

Awesome guitar playing, great stage show. The rendition of the better known songs from the album Burn was stunning. The support band were also excellent. The audience were rapt. The only down side for me, too many people packed into the venue.

Glenn Hughes performance belies the fact that he is 72 years old and has been belting out rock music for more than 50 years. The full range of notes pour effortlessly from him as he runs through a range on Mark iii & iv Deep Purple songs even including Highway Star as an encore prior to a great version of Burn.

Great show by Glenn and his band , I've been a deep purple fan for over 40 years and respected Glenn Hughes singing and writing in this time too . Been wanting to see him live for years and he didn't dissapoint on this his 50th anniversary tour . Superb I was very happy with the show . Thank you Glenn .

I've seen Glenn several times over the years both solo and in various bands. This show was all the old Deep Purple songs from his time with them in the 70s and fantastic to hear them all again. Whole band on form', great show. Quick word for Canadian support band The Damn Truth if they're the future of rock it's in good !hands
