UK Subs rose to fame amongst the first wave of punk-rock. Formed in 1976, the hardcore-punk band currently consists of Charlie Harper (lead vocals and harmonica), Alvin Gibbs (bass), Steve Straughan (guitar) and Stefan Häublein (drums). Their best-selling albums include Another Kind of Blues (1979), Brand New Age (1980) and Diminished Responsibility (1981). Their latest title Reverse Engineering dropped in 2022.
Great night, great bands only complaint is being charged £4.50 for a can of lager !

great gig ,friendly and helpful merch table .my only gripe is the too cool to be working here bar staff that you find at such venues - actually serving the correct drink and not talking to fellow staff during taking the order could have led to 5 stars haha

The first time I’d seen UK Subs and they were great. The Hairy Dog is an excellent venue and the staff are very good and friendly.

Fantastic venue,friendly staff, great atmosphere.Acoustic sounds are superb for all bands at this venue.
