The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing

Formed in 2008 by Andrew O'Neill and Andy Heintz, The Men That Will Not Be Blamed for Nothing have featured on the cover of the lifestyle magazine The Chap, within the covers of Bizarre Magazine and the NME and played in diverse venues including comedy clubs, festivals and theatres (the latter in support of frontman O'Neill on the tour of his comedy show Andrew O'Neill's Totally Spot-On History Of British Industry).

Their name is a reference to the chalked graffiti discovered above a section of blood-stained apron thought to have been discarded by Jack the Ripper as he fled the scene of Catherine Eddowes' murder.

They describe themselves as "Crusty punk meets cockney sing-songs meets grindcore in the 1880s."

Touring during October of 2019, The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing will play at Rescue Rooms on Thursday 31st.

The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing tickets can soon be yours. They are released at 10:00 on Friday 23rd of August and you can set your own personal text or email reminder via Gigantic so you are ready for their release.

Fabulous evening

TMTWNBBFN were on fire playing a selection of songs from their first three albums and tracks from the new one "Double Negative". With the size of their back catalogue it was impossible for TMTWNBBFN to play all the tracks everyone wanted to hear but I enjoyed each and every song they played. Highlights for me were 'Baby Farmer', 'There She Glows' and 'There's Going To Be A Revolution' from the new album and if I had to pick a few 'Charlie', 'Doing It For The Whigs', 'Brunell' and 'Miner' from earlier album. The evenings support came from PollyPikPocketz and IDestroy both bands I have seen several times in smaller venues but both used the larger stage and crowd with aplomb; and finally Will Seaward a comedian whom I enjoyed and so it seemed did the rest of the audience.
