Formed in Rhyl, Wales in 1981, arena-rockers The Alarm have been consistently releasing music for their entire career, with an astounding nineteen studio albums completed between the years of 1984 and 2021. Their song "The Red Wall of Cymru" was the official anthem for Wales during the Euro 2020 football tournament. In the past, they have opened on tours for huge acts such as U2 and Bob Dylan.

The Alarm - A Midsummer Gathering, Cardiff University Great Hall, Cardiff - 29th June 2019
First time at the Rescue Rooms, first time seeing the Alarm for nearly 20 years. Not the same line-up but Mike Peters was on top form. Two hours of new music and all of the classics. The downside, some of the classics were rushed a bit to make way for the new stuff - only 2 minutes for 'Where were you hiding' for example, but the crowd loved it and so did I.
