The Slow Readers Club are a unique indie-pop group from Manchester. Their band members include Aaron Starkie (vocals) Kurtis Starkie (guitar) James Ryan (bass) and David Whitworth (drums). They have released five studio albums titled The Slow Readers Club (2011), Cavalcade (2015), Build a Tower (2018), The Joy of the Return (2020), 91 Days In Isolation (2020) and Knowledge Freedom Power (2023).
