Easy booking process online to purchase tickets. Great price for an evening of entertainment. The Bodega has parking close by and is easy to find. It's located with lots of bars and restaurants around it. The upstairs of Bodega is a really relaxed, intimate venue with a bar of it's own. We really enjoyed the support act, Christof Van Der Ven and bought a signed CD after the performance. Sam Brookes, as usual, was excellent and we loved him performing with the band. A great night. Thank you.

Sam Brookes, The Bodega, Nottingham - 10th May 2018
The Bodega is a fantastic small venue, perfect for intimate gigs. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Sam Brookes is such a fantastic singer/songwriter (besides being an absolute warm, charming human being) and who in my humble opinion should get far more airplay and recognition. If you get the opportunity - go see him.

Spellbound. You could have heard a pin drop. Listening to Sam Brookes is a vacation for the soul! Every song feels like a powerful but gentle conversation with the audience, a carefully contemplative journey... Go and listen to him, if you get the chance!! A unique and one off talent!! A must see and hear!

Sam Brookes, The Borderline, London - 4th May 2018
I really like booking with Gigantic. The website is easy and quick to use. Tickets arrived quickly. The Bodega is a great little venue. Really intimate and in amongst lots of nice bars and restaurants. Parking is plentiful in the area. Charlotte Carpenter supporting act was really good. Sam Brookes was brilliant. He has the most amazing voice and comes across as such a nice person. He told a little story about the songs, which made them more personable. He then came out into the audience at the end for a chat, selfies and signings. Already booked to see him again in November. Can't wait for the new album. It was a really relaxed evening.

Sam Brookes, The Bodega, Nottingham - 5th October 2017
Apart from being devilishly handsome and articulate he writes a good tune and plays to a high standard on the banjo. He does show off a bit with his fancy tuning patterns but I can forgive this as his dulcet choirboy voice, which is enough to loosen my fillings, makes up for any showing off he may do with his fingers. Also I did like the added entertainment of his backing boys pulling the same pained faces when they were hitting the more demanding notes with Sam, Nicely choreographed. In summing up I would like to say Cheese string with chutney. So here goes " cheese string with chutney" Much Love, Paul and Adele the tall Redhead. xxx
