This was a very enjoyable evening. All of the cast performed with great energy. Nell Gwynn herself was exceptional, and displayed a range of emotions with much style and wit. The King himself made a strong impression. We also saw a cast member carrying off with panache the difficult task of playing a character who cannot act but has to do so. We all left with broad smiles at the end of a very satisfying evening and hoping that members of this cast will succeed in their desire to tread the boards professionally.

Excellent casting which brought out the best in all performers! I loved the singing and dancing and I was reminded of The Libertine as I lapped up the bawdy raucousness. Fabulous!!

We really enjoyed this piece. It was well acted and the energy was maintained throughout. The only negative was that a couple of times when the actors turned their backs and spoke, we couldn’t hear what they said. My feet did get cold in the venue but it was -1c outside...
