The enigmatic former frontman of The Bluetones, Mark Morriss, has released four studio albums as an artist since his solo debut in 2006 with EP The Fi-Lo Beddow EP. His band The Bluetones were one of the formative bands of the Brit-pop era, and their debut album Expecting to Fly charted at number one in the Official UK Albums Chart back in 1996.
Mark Morriss delivers a fab show. He can belt out super solo stuff, brilliant Bluetones songs and he engages his audience - a thoroughly good egg!

Love Mark Morriss a bit more every time we see him perform...great music, great chat, hilarious - always a great night out. The Toll Bar is a great little venue, and we’ll definitely be back.

First time at The Toll Bar since it has become a music venue. Good small venue, reasonably priced beer. Enjoyed the support act Sons of rest. Mark Morriss was excellent as always playing a mixture of his solo songs and Bluetones classics. He entertains the crowd with cheeky comments and played an impromptu reggae style Slight Return.Highly recommended for lovers of the 90s Indie scene .
