Luke Wright is very funny poet. It's the second one man show I have seen him perform and they were both fab. His poetry is funny, thoughtful and in the mold of John Cooper Clark (without the alcoholism).

I don't go to much (hardly any) poetry but I'd seen Luke supporting John Cooper Clark a couple of years ago and been impressed. The performanace of Frankie Vah was astonishing and my wife and I both felt it captures the 80's and the Thatcher Wars perfectly, we were both at Uni at the time. Second half with the performance of newer poems was a surprise and a treat. Hugely enjoyable, good venue and overall great evening.

Just incredible. Bigger than the venue and the audience. Punk rock poetry at it's best. Only downside is we can't see weekly performances, that would seem about the right amount.

Luke Wright gave an outstanding performance. His poetry and delivery have a power to tell stories...of now, of history, of people and emotions. His delivery is intoxicating and the audience were spell-bound. More please!
