Let's Eat Grandma

Let’s Eat Grandma are an electronic based pair producing fantastically odd music. Eccentric and endearing, the band have immediately grabbed widespread attention.

Best friends since the age of four and virtually identical, multi instrumental teens Rosa and Jenny explore their dreamscape sound using synths and drum machines to produce perfect progressive pop that oozes with experimental goodness. The pair have been working together since they were both aged 13 and wrote the song The Angry Chicken about an alarm clock.

See them take over Lightbox in London during March, then The Deaf Institute at Manchester and Castle & Falcon at Birmingham in April 2018.

Excitement is already high and still rising as is the demand, so make sure you do not hang about and book your tickets for Let’s Eat Grandma before they are all snatched up. Fortunately, placing your order with Gigantic is made easy as your purchase can be made 24/7 at home or on the go using your smartphone, tablet or computer.

Their debut album I, Gemini has just come out and will be promoted by upcoming live performances. The album was recorded at Old School Studios in Norwich which is an old nuclear bomb shelter turned into an analogue recording studio - a suitably weird setting for an album that includes tracks titled Sax In The City, Deep Six Textbook and Eat Shiitake Mushrooms.

The Norwich teens are like the evil twins from The Simpsons - a little bit witchy, a bit mischievous and totally badass” - NME

a gorgeous slow-burner of a track, embracing the pat-a-cake eccentricities that make the band's live sets so disturbing and adding layers of breathy harmonies on top” - Noisey

Let’s Eat Grandma are a pair of near-identical teenage girls from a strange and distant kingdom (OK, Norwich) who deal in glacial gothic pop and brittle folky weirdness. ” - The Guardian Guide, Pick Of The Week

BETTER THAN I EVER THOUGHT

I only recently stumbled across Let’s Eat Grandma thanks to Spotify. I was attracted to their unique sound and the depth of the music and accompanying lyrics. By depth I mean the brilliance by which each track tells its own story and takes on the character (of or) developed by Rosa and Jenny. In concert they were better than I could have hoped. Relaxed, confident and not afraid to do their own thing - I loved it and so did the packed audience at Heaven. Heaven - thank you, a professional, friendly and safe venue. R

Let's Eat Grandma, Heaven, London - 27th September 2018

Girl Power.

Great venue with lovely support from the young Felix Shepherd. Fantastic performance from the girls with a mix of new and older songs. The new stuff was more beat driven pop tunes but a maturing sound. No encore unfortunately and slightly short at 40 minutes left the crowd wanting more. Overall an amazing gig.

Let's Eat Grandma, The Castle & Falcon, Birmingham - 11th April 2018

Very good but rather short

Ok they are promoting their new album which sounds excellent but only played for an hour, I think adding a few more tracks from their first album could have filled out the gig a bit more, they have the repertoire.
