Inglorious

Let us tell you a little more about Inglorious. Nathan James has been singing professionally for 10 years & has performed with artists such as Jeff Scott Soto, Uli Jon Roth, Steve Vai. For the last 3 years, Nathan has been singing with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra under musical direction of the incredible Al Pitrelli. Nathan cannot wait to unleash Inglorious for everyone to enjoy. He is looking forward to people hearing his powerful voice on these songs that he, and the band, has written.

Nathan's right hand man had to be lead guitarist Adde Zata of Crazy Lixx. Adde comes from Sweden, But the UK is now becoming his second home. Adde is a great person to share the spotlight with Nathan James and has played guitar for many years.

Colin Parkinson had to be the Inglorious bass player. An amazing talent, Colin has not only played in bands since he was 15, he has also recorded sessions for several established producers and artists.

Colin has played shows worldwide, most recently in India, Russia and Denmark where he has lived for the last couple of years. Colin has also been in many bands over the years with drummer Phil Beaver. Phil Beaver has been playing, touring and producing since his early teens and, when Colin and Phil were asked to play a few of the Inglorious tracks together, it was obvious from the first note that they were meant for those songs and would provide the backbone of Inglorious. Phil is a left-handed multi-instrumentalist from the West Country. Groove, power, class, laughs and a tremendous beard are just a few things that drummer Phil Beaver brings to the band.

The only person missing was a second guitarist to round out the sound. Here we find Northerner Billy Taylor. Billy picked up a guitar at 14 after watching Guns N' Roses "Paradise City" music video. Unlike the rest of the band, Billy is completely self-taught. This being said, he was forced to take guitar lessons at 15, resulting in his guitar teacher being fired from the school as he admitted he couldn't teach him anything!

Billy began playing professionally in bands shortly after and has been teaching guitar, drums and bass since he was 18. The release of the video for "Burn", a cover of the Deep Purple classic, was hailed as nothing short of a masterpiece. This was voted as a Classic Rock video of the week and garnered support from some of rock's glitterati with comments from Steve Lukather [Toto] "KILLER!!! Great playing from everyone!! and the vocals are insane! Love it!" Michael Sweet [Stryper] said "Great voice brother - I'm a fan too and you probably know that already".

Over the last 6 months, the band has been writing, recording and rehearsing new material. The band had a few writing sessions with top producer/guitarist, John Mitchell. They tracked the demos live before Nathan left for his third US arena tour with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

During Nathan's time on tour in the US, he had the opportunity to write with some acclaimed musicians including Al Pitrelli (Megadeth, Alice Cooper), Angus Clark (TSO, Rock of Ages) and Joel Hoekstra (Night Ranger, Whitesnake). The rest of Inglorious continued to send demos every week.

Awesome evening at the seaside

An excellent evening on every level. Having known the band for years it was a given that it would be. Glad that Brighton got to experience the Inglorious experience. Perfect combination of songs from their catalogue and some ballads mixed amongst the heavier tunes. Although shame that some saw fit to bounce about like loons and spoil the fun with their drunken antics.

Outstanding!!

After all the drama behind the scenes surrounding Inglorious and the questions raised regarding the new lineup, Nathan James and the guys more than stepped up to the plate, delivering a first rate night of unfaltering rock! Looking like a hybrid of Slash and Lenny Kravitz, 19 year old lead guitarist, Danny Dela Cruz delivered a lengthy solo to rival the likes of David Gilmour, in what was truly a blistering guitar masterclass. Clearly, there is nothing that Nathan James cannot sing, and the band complimented his incredible vocal range with funky bass lines and smooth, jazz-like licks, delivered by new recruits Dan Stevens (guitar) and Vinnie Colla (Bass). Pulling everything perfectly together, Captain Caveman lookalike Phil Beaver, transitioning between drums and 12 string acoustic made for a flawless performance from start to finish. Mixing tracks from the new and the old, Inglorious left everything on stage and cut no corners. If this is just the beginning, it's safe to say the future of Inglorious looks bright.
