I only saw my first FF show in October 2018 at the end of their last tour, at the O2, I'd heard a couple of tracks, and I thought I'd check them out, what can I say I was hooked So when the announced this mini tour I knew immediately I had to see them again. The Castle & Falcon is a small venue, perhaps 200 people. So to the show, a start time of 9:45, was kinda late on a school night, but there was no less energy for it. If a band should be a little rusty after some time away from the road, FF did not show it, Nat admitted that the thought of playing live had raised her anxiety, but adding equally that we were as an audience a lovely return to a live setting. Three new songs were debuted, the lead single, Amateurs, which we all sang along to, and what has to be the next single surely Write Me A Song, which describes a record exec demanding the next hit, its a slight departure sonically for FF, but I thought was stand out, I cannot wait to hear this on record, it seems like one of those songs you're gonna love from the second you hear it.. in this world of instant downloads, I'd have bought this if I could. It reminds me of The Go-Gos slightly.. not sure why I think that, but thats what it brought to mind. A fantastic return, cannot wait for the new album, and the next tour, where I'm sure they'll be playing bigger venues!

Fickle Friends, The Castle & Falcon, Birmingham - 2nd December 2019
Fickle friends are a small band that to allow them to connect with theyre audience they need a smaller and intimate space. At the o2 it was a perfect location. The combination of great music and a great atmosphere, it made the night truly incredible!

Fickle Friends, O2 Academy2 Birmingham, Birmingham - 26th October 2018
Followed Fickle friends for 3 years and loved watching them grow. Their new album is a knock out so I was extremely excited to finally see them on Monday at the Corcode 2, and they didn't disapoint. My favourites - Brooklyn, bite and hello hello were perfectly amazingly and they even blasted out Cry baby which made my night.

Fickle Friends, Concorde 2, Brighton - 19th March 2018
Small venues always make gigs feel more authentic, and with such a great band like Fickle Friends that experience was made so much better. I’d never heard of the support act before (Off Bloom), but now they are in my current playlist as their performance was amazing and their music just the same. Would definitely see FF again and will definitely visit Rescue Rooms again.
