Eels

Formed in 1995, the band quickly gained international attention with the release of their debut album Beautiful Freak a year later. Including the singles Susan’s House and Novocaine For The Soul, fans and critics alike were drawn to Mark Everett’s idiosyncratic song writing style which expertly blends disparate influences showing real understanding of many genres and the incredible talent to tap into them. It raised the bar and expectations that would come with each subsequent release, and Eels have never disappointed.

Eels, Epic Studios, Norwich - 5th April 2023

Excellent Performance

We were not too familiar with the music of Eels but it was excellent . Loved the attire of the band. First class musicians and we definitely see them again. Go to see them if you get the chance you will not be disappointed.

Eels, O2 Guildhall Southampton, Southampton - 4th April 2023

Perfect night apart from being a sardine for a wee bit

The Eels are such a great band live unpredictable, funny, amazing sound quality. A packed out venue means the waiting times at the bar were a bit longer than you would like but to be honest the beer selection is not really to my taste. Had a can of Guinness draft which is a poor relation to the real original and as usual was very disappointed no ale no Guinness on draft just fizzy poor tasting lager or rank IPA....

Great gig!

Brixton Academy is a safe, friendly venue. The Eels were engaging, entertaining and I danced like crazy and their supporting band That One Guy was unexpectedly good.

band great crap view

Brixton Academy is great if your downstairs standing crap if your upstairs watching I just hate large venues and feel that I would prefer not to bother.
