Calum Scott

Calum Scott is a huge star in the making. A voice that conveys emotion and draws the listener in with his wide range that sees the singer move from bold confidence, agonising heartache and tenderly held notes.

The young vocalist comes from the mighty city of Hull, known as a focal point for artists and music having been declared the European Capital of Culture 2017. That year also saw the release of his latest single ‘You Are The Reason’.

Scott first got his name out there by appearing on the huge prime time TV programme Britain’s Got Talent in 2015. His performance there impressed mega producer, record label owner and hit maker Simon Cowell so much that he pressed the Golden Buzzer which automatically sent Scott straight to the semi-finals.

Since his first televisual appearance Scott has developed into an independent artist working with producers in London and Leeds. Such is his appeal, the videos showcasing his work have received over 50 million YouTube hits.

Scott smashed straight into #2 in the UK Singles Chart with his cover of Robyn’s Dancing On My Own making him the first solo Hull artist to break the Top 40 and continues to work on new material in the studio.

He has been flown around the world to make performances in front of packed out audiences, receiving standing ovations from ecstatic fans and enthused peers within the music industry.

Following the release of “Where Are You Now” with Lost Frequencies that continues to dominate the UK Top 5 and airwaves around the world with over 400 million streams to date, multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Calum Scott today announces his biggest headline U.K. & European tour to date.

Calum will kick off the European leg of the tour in Vienna, Austria on 13 September before performing in cities across Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Ireland. The U.K. leg of the tour arrives on 1 October at Queens Hall in Edinburgh with shows confirmed across Manchester, Birmingham, and the iconic London Palladium before concluding in his hometown, Hull on 8 October.

Says Calum, “It feels so incredible to announce my U.K. & European tour! It’s been a long time coming and a lot of planning but after the last few years we’ve had, you can just tell how excited people are for live music again and I’m so happy to be a part of it. I am coming back with my band to play the songs that people discovered me on, as well as new songs from my second album which I would say is my best and most personal work yet - I can’t wait to see you there.”
The news also follows the latest release of Calum’s emotionally empowered single and video “If You Ever Change Your Mind.” It’s the third song that Calum has shared from his highly anticipated sophomore album, due out this spring.
