I'm someone who likes many genres of music, of which jazz is just one. And I typically go to 2 or 3 gigs every week, so I have seen thousands of bands and musicians over the years. But Arun Ghosh is something special. Not only is he, technically, a brilliant clarinet player but also he writes great material and his performance is extraordinarily dynamic.

Wonderful first visit to Metronome. Brilliant venue, great sound but best of all, Arun Ghosh! Unbelievable sounds, joyous British jazz at its best. I've been to a lot of Jazz over the last 40 years, this was up there with the best of them and showing that British Jazz musicians are among the best in the world. More please!
